Aluminum trim that is unique to the convertible model only, sport seats, and a larger trunk are all standard. The G37 convertible comes loaded with great accessories like an automatic climate control, a wind deflector, seat with a heater in them, and a 13-speaker Bose sound system. Most convertible lose stereo sound with the top down due to wind noise, but the G37 convertible has smart speakers powered by Bose. The G37 has different body panels that allow the 3 piece hardtop to retract into the trunk and is covered by a tonneau cover. The top drops in less than a minute.

Nissan engineers did a great job of modifying the chassis, suspension, panels, and trunk area to adapt the car as a convertible. The convertible weight ballons due to the retractable top and all the motorized hardware. At 453 pounds. heavier that the coupe and over 100lbs. more that the 335i drop-top.

Engine wise, the 2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible has a 3.7L V6 engine producing 327hp and 267lb.lb-ft torque. It comes available with a sport package and a standard six speed manual transmission or an optional seven speed automatic. This luxury convertible features an updated brake system and giant 19 inch rims. You get paddle shifters on automatic models.
